we've 'finally' moved again! (was supposed to be a lot sooner than when it happened but im not complaining. i got to spend my birthday in the state i grew up and my family took me out for dinner at one of my favorite places to eat (i love their chicken malibu sandwich and fries :D )

every time we stopped (even in heavy traffic lol) she would wake up and look around. knowing that if we had indeed stopped that i would take her out for a walk. im super impressed. she did very well the entire road trip. pretty tough little dog :D

thanks to it looking like a gym bag and Pixie being calm and quiet i snuck her into all the hotels we stayed at and no one was the wiser that i had a dog in it - i do feel bad that i was all sneakykins about it but it was that or her and i be stuck sleeping in the car



my (new to me desktop and furniture and tv)
i really like the keyboard and colors it displays that matches my PC but it doesnt have NumLock. so i have gone back to using my very old keyboard as there's games where i use the NumLock to do literally everything in the game with. sure there's the OSK (on screen keyboard) but it didnt overlay in my games so i couldnt use it or play my games

i love my flooring! im finally not embarrassed to get pictures in my room anymore. the carpet in my old room was so gross. i wanted to replace it a very long time ago but everything i tried didnt 'fit.' even my mom tried to help me with it but everything we tried either made my room look darker or smaller (or both) - that kind of thing; so i stuck with its gross carpet self all that time. Pixie however isnt a fan of it and walks around like she's on ice. so i keep her on my bed. for starters she wasnt a fan of it cuz she was used being in my lap or laying sprawled out against my leg on top of the footstool. this footstool though is a lot smaller than the one i had and kinda freaks her out to lay on. plus i like that she can get water whenever she wants and not me have to scoot my chair back and assist her down and than assist her back up when she got done drinking. sometimes that got rather annoying as there were times she'd ask down and get only one sip (literally one; as in one slurpy drink sound when dogs get a drink and that was literally it. 'one') and than ask back up in my lap. then not even a full minute later she'd ask back down for literally one sip of water again and would do that several times. - i now know all of that was her playing a game with me. as now that her water bowl is kept only a few inches away she never dones the one sip thing. - i think she was getting even with me for all the times i make her work for getting her ball back from me and when i grab her nose or paw and not let go just to see what her reaction will be lol




noticing even the grass is different here
unfortunately where we moved to also has neighbors a stones throw away and also has just patch of grass for a yard too. it is however a bigger patch of grass then the temporary place had and it's fenced in. both of which is great but now the yard is shared with two big dogs and several people that i will have to work around so that it's just Pixie and i the yard

hoping to find a park near enough by that i can bike to (one with a basket on it that i can put her into) that has more going for than just dumb grass in the direct sun. until than im not sure how often any updates will happen
or... i could just get only in my room pictures but that sounds on the boring side to me lol
