sorry it's been such a long time since ive last updated between all of everything that's been going on here. such as adjusting to a new time zone and over all new environment, getting all our stuff unpacked that was mixed in with everyone else's stuff (everything was in cardboard boxes stacked up in the garage and pure chaos for everyone for a while) and then i was trying to learn the lay the land and helping my father do the same. then the whole household got sick

now that i and other family members are finally feeling better thought i'd give an update

as mentioned i got my stuff unpacked, and for the most part have my room setup the way i want it expect for 'maybe' hanging some blankets up in the big empty spots on my walls, but im afraid itll be way too cluttery in here, like a lot more than it already is lol

perhaps wondering why i turned off the TV
she loves being on my bed and is more than happy to stay on it. however one night as soon as i turned off the light to go to bed she fell. i picked her up and she seemed fine but in the morning she had a slight limp. she did eat but had no enthusiasm for anything. 2nt day her limp went away but still no enthusiasm. just as i was about to take her to the vet she perked right on up into being herself and has been that way ever since. (this happened several months back now) so i keep her tied to the bed with 2 leashes and a small chain to give her allowance to lay as close to me as possible but still make sure she cant walk off either side of the bed. i dont want to risk that happening again whether it's daylight or not

she did want to be close to me but i had her sit and stay in those spots to show that my room isnt a complete shoebox shape

my setup & things now

lol shes such a sweet dog

i will try to update more but it's kind of pending as this little patch of forest isnt part of our property and probably will be mowed down where a house will maybe be put soon and i'll lose my picture taking spot. i was thinking about taking her to park but the more i thought about it more i dont want to take her to a park for her safety. my luck there'd be someone there with a large dog that's aggressive towards other dogs, or some dog get its prey drive triggered seeing something small and fluffy running around. all itd take is one snap (even just a corrective snap and not a snap to mean harm) from a dog much larger than her and she could be seriously injured or worse. so ive ruled parks out. especially dog parks. just way too many variables, some i just mentioned but a lot more too.

(taken yesterday    3/26/26)
so ive just been ducking in here that's kind of nearby where we live but it is very much a pain to get to (a long walk to get to it and after that there's tons of shrubby vine stuff before the tree line starts that i have to fight my way through) but once in it's gorgeous. nice spot to sit and watch the world go by for a while. just like i often did back on my property in wa, state. i sure miss it. dont get me wrong, it's beautiful here too, but i grew up in wa, state and on that property. hard for me to not miss it and wa, state in general
